New Year....New Hair
Every New Year, I always do something I've never done before. Wether it be to wear something new, change my hair style or even switch up my course of action all together. I wanted to take a risk with my hair for the new year! Since I'm getting used to changing up colors, I wanted to do so without damaging my hair.
I was natural for 4 years and then relaxed. However, I am transitioning back to natural (I miss my curls) so you know what that means...YES!!! Protective styling. Last January, about a Year ago!!! (Insert my shmoney dance here LOL) I purchased 3 gorgeous Cambodian Body Wave Bundles with a free part closure from Legacy Doll Hair. This hair is still on point, like I've just opened it. The luster is perfect, this hair is super soft and silky. I have been wearing this hair on and off since March of last year. (I'll insert pictures of me in this hair over the year below)
I was a bit apprehensive about coloring this hair because I love it in its natural state, but I was ready for a change. I was contacted by Creme of Nature to try their Exotic Shine Colors with Argan Oil. This couldn't be anymore perfect because everyone who knows me, knows that I only use Creme of Nature with Argan Oil products in my hair anyway! This was fate...
I received a beautiful holiday basket with a delicious treat as well.

The colors I received were, Intense black, Light Caramel Brown, Intensive Red, Bronze Copper, and Ginger Blonde.
I decided to use Ginger Blonde for the ends and worked my way up to the middle. I wanted to have a gradient effect/ombre look so I decided to add the Light Caramel Brown color from the middle to the base, but not quite on the roots. I only used one box of each color and was able to dye every bit of the 3 bundles and closure. The process was very short and I am in no way a beautician.
I think the results came out great! I can't wait to experiment with the other colors as well. What do you all think??
